Midtown from Piedmont Park, IR

I need to get out and take more IR shots. I think waterfalls might be a good choice since they need to be taken with slower shutter speeds anyway. Kill to birds with one stone. Maybe even HDR IR?

Five Points

I think this is the Westin Peachtree Plaza, just a bit off from where the CNN Center and the Centennial Olympic Park is in Atlanta GA. I've been meaning to try to get to the top of this building to take some night photos someday. The Sundial Restaurant and Bar is on the top floor.

Martin Creek Falls

Old photo, I remember hiking through the woods not really sure I was going in the right direction and basically "running into" the trail to this falls. It was getting late and darkening quickly. Set up the shot and followed the trail back out the right way.

Light Bulb

Took this way back in 2003, I need to try this again except I'll have to keep the threads intack. Actually, this was in a socket and that would have looked off in this setting. I still think I have the light buld as a matter of fact.

DeSoto Upper Falls

DeSoto Falls, the upper, taken way back in the early to mid 2000's. I truly need to get back up to North Georgia and take more shots of the many waterfalls up there.

Strobist: One 600W Stellar with softbox about 3/4 power 45degrees just out of frame on camera right, slave background strobe (100W?) with red gel snooted on grey background full power.

Feeding Time

Took several of these during an outing on the Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta, GA near where I work. This little fly was feeding on several dandelions. I had my 150mm 1:1 macro at minimum focus and just moved back and forth for focus while lying on my stomach.
