Little Guy

Here is a small red Mushroom, I think when I took this I didn't realize at first that there was a slug there. Made the photo that much more interesting.

Bokeh

A very common butterfly in the south eastern US a Soldier - Danaus. It's very common in my mother's backyard.

Stalking

Spider in air, actually he was on his web but you can't really see it. I generally do a lot of insect/flower/nature photography, generally I think that they don't complain about getting their photo taken and I don't feel funny about taking it. I may have a phobia.

Mantis

I've only photographed a preying mantis twice as far as I can remember. The nicest thing about them is that the stay relatively still and do not spook easily.

Ladybug

Sometimes you see these little critters all over and at other times not at all. Maybe it's the season maybe not. The next several weeks I'm digging back in time and showing photos from the past.

Another star trail photo, I had hoped to do another one on Sunday but the weather didn't cooperate with me.

Another of a caterpillar egg

Took this over at the entrance of the Greenway at work in Alpharetta. There is this patch of Passion Vine that usually has plenty of caterpillars on it munching away but so far this year nothing. This is also the only time I've seen eggs on these plants.

I've looked the last several days and the egg is still there, maybe this morning will find something more.
